RHS Concert BandL Music in Our Schools Month

Lake Washington School District has a strong and active music program, with classes for everyone from beginners to students with years of experience. These young musicians perform in concerts, festivals, and in the community throughout the year, which prepares them for continuing their musical journeys in high school and beyond.

Little Roos tutoring program

This year Rose Hill Elementary is focusing on math. To help students’ perceptions of math and their academic achievement in the area, the school partnered with Lake Washington High School students to create an after-school tutoring program.

Black History Month assembly at Audubon Elementary

Audubon Elementary explored Black History Month with an all-school assembly. Fourth graders read biographies of notable Black leaders, scholars, artists and athletes that they researched and wrote. The school also welcomed special guest speakers from Lake Washington High School’s Black Student Union (BSU).

Am I Enough ENAEP video

The Eastside Native American Education Program celebrated Indigenous Peoples Day with a celebration held outside Lake Washington High School. They want to bring awareness to the 91 tribes in the program by asking “Am I Enough?"
